Punk'd

First of all, here are the random facts of the day ( or for 2007 ):
1) The climate on the island is especially good for acne problems to occur
2) The radio plays WEIRD remakes of popular songs at around 4-5am.

Happy 20th. Dont ever say we can't surprise you on your birthday anymore.


'What ever happened to good ol church boys?'


They used to nickname me Osam*. Why? The reason being I always come out with stupid/not so pleasant ideas. Yet somehow when the idea gets implemented at the end of day, I never get caught, like the real osam*.

In this case, it was only my idea to punk the birthday out by just driving his NEW HONDA ACCORD off and simulating a car theft i.e make him panic. Somehow or another, a law student from cambridge (LAW STUDENTS these days... tsk tsk tsk) decided to 'decorate' his car whilst he's panicking. oh boy when she said decorate, she did it well.

The most interesting part was, we did this in church. We raised a few eyebrows, got a few disapproving looks, people shaking heads. Oh well the usual the usual (: Some of us felt a tad bit more guilty than the others, well but it's all good. Only back once a year.

Yeah but heads up to the father for letting us do such a thing. It was really cool of him and though he was in abit of a shock (maybe anger? haha) , we apologized.

PS: to the people in melb. dont let me plan your birthdays.

Here's some of the church family:

The people whom I love. Every year I get back, people never fail to surprise me. It's definitely great to see the church moving. It's very very encouraging and heartwarming.

I am really really thankful for GBC. It's been around 10 years and still uncle teoh still emphasizes on 'attentiveness'. I never forget how he drilled that into my head until this day (and I am thankful for it now). When a man repeats something a few times, it's important. When a man repeats it for years, i think it can be life changing. Yeah and it really is important, not only being attentive to people, being attentive in classes, but also being attentive to God as well. Taking the me out of the equation and just being attentive to others.

Sometimes I feel like I wanna say loads of things to the church youths.... but i dont even know whether I'm in a place to do it or not. But that's something for some other time....
