Take me away
Take me away
I’ve got nothing left to say
Just take me away
The sold out arena cheers wildly. Wherever he performs, tickets sell fast because people gather to see him, because people want to see him. The fans sit there for the whole two hours, just waiting for the main event, in which he always highlights. They wait, they anticipate, knowing that their breaths will be taken away, that they will be drawn into his world….
‘The crowd is your judge, jury and executioner. Make them love you, or make them hate you. They are like hounds, they want to see you fall, they want to see you bleed, they want to see you struggle for your dear life. Yet they want to see you overcome all these odds, they want to see you rise from the dust, beating everything that is put against you. Then they will cheer for you.’
All he knows is putting on the best show he can, to give the people what they want. Even at the expense of himself. That is his desire, his sacrifice
The lights dim and in one moment, the pyrotechnics explode and the sold out crowd are up on their feet cheering. He puts on his hood, stands at the stage entrance and closes his eyes. It’s time to show.
When you are with me, I’m free
I’m careless, I believe
‘Introducing, the Pheeeeenoooooomeeeenaaaaaal….’
