Clarity

Pardon the incoherence that follows....

There are some things that goes beyond plain feelings in a relationship.

The C word : Commitment

Its not about the feeling good, the hype, the happiness, the chance to hear the signifcant other's voice, its not even about feeling close.

Dont get me wrong, the above mentioned are definitely and absolutely wonderful and delightful to have and i desire for that to happen.

But

Even when i'm not feeling good, even when there is silence, when the attacks of the enemy are relentless, when i'm lonely, when i dont hear anything from You, when my body cant take it anymore, when my mind is in a mess and my heart is broken, when i weep, when everything else crumbles before me,

Come what may, I still want to stand my ground and offer my prayers of praise to you.

The end product doesnt matter to You but rather the process of faith and obedience matters to You. Even though you are silent, I know you are listening. Every living moment.

Lord help me.
