Ichirin no Hana

It's been a while since i actually sat down and blogged about stuff happening in my life and my own thoughts. Been just posting pictures up the past few times.

What has been happening during the holidays? Officially i'm labelled a bummer coz i'm not working currently but my 'to-do list' is just so damn long i dont even know whether can i finish what i wanna do within this holiday period. e.g take out wisdom tooth, get summer program goin, spend time reading, being alone etc etc

Thankfully, I'm done with NS and I'm enjoying time spent catching up with both old and new friends. Well at least this holidays isnt wasted.

Onto random stuff i heard over the past wk :

'Before marriage, it was ideal. After marriage, it became an ordeal.'

Went for dinner with my sunday school teacher who is also a marriage counsellor at church who told us a whole load of funny marriage jokes and quotes. Laughed my ass off. Come to think of it, that statement is really true. When u put 2 totally different people, who are brought up in different backgrounds, have different personalities, different experiences, different expectations and let them live together for the rest of their lives, it can sometimes really be an ordeal if no effort is put in.

Over the wk, went out wif my ex-classmates in college. Realised we had a really crazy time in JC. Despite the lousy education system and being blacklisted by alot of the department heads, we really had a blast of a time doing crazy stuff in school. My only regret is that i slept too much during lectures and when it was time 2 catch up with school work, it was too late :( All things that happen are part of a plan and purpose i guess. Maybe that's y now i'm in melbourne, doing something different, and having another ball of a time due to my not so excellent A' Level results.

Also had lunch with the Lee sisters over the past wk... Yeah i should keep my sarcastic remarks myself. I'm still working on it. hahaha. Realised that the world is so damn small. Apparently, they're were from the same primary school as me. Both siblings are in the same school. Some families like to send their children into the same schools i guess... to make things easier i think.

My brother was from ACS(I), I'm from Chinese High. He attends the chinese service in church and i attend the english service, ironically. Apparently my father sent us to different schools in order to get the 'best of both worlds'.... whatever that means. Strangely, I dont quarrel much with my brother despite being extremely different.

That's enough verbal diarrhoea for now. The title of the post means 'lonely flower' btw, if anyone wants to know
