Blessed Christmas

Born to die. That's basically what Christmas is all about besides the season of giving thingy. The baby in the manger is here to die for everyone of us. That's his ultimate purpose. I can never ever fathom how Jesus might have actually felt and i dont think i ever deserved that kind of grace.

Will I ever be commited or convicted enough to die for someone? Die for my country? Die for a cause? Will that kind of situation ever occur and if it does, will i ever make that sacrifice?

Enough of the pessimism for now. Watched Chronicles of Narnia recently. Loved the book when i was young and the movie remained true to the actual book. I liked it. Had a short conversation with this guy called Ken during dinner about movies, songs with double meanings. To some people, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe is just another fantasy movie but to people who realise it, the movie is a parable of the gospel story. Aslan = Jesus, Witch = Devil, Four kids = Us.

'Diamonds are forever, the rock is still alive whenever i rhyme.' Kanye West-Diamonds are Forever

Double lyrics in the meaning if u can get it. If u dont, it's just another song. I'm not trying to preach here but it's just quite interesting to hear the subtle references and double meanings there are nowadays in songs, movies etc etc
